Policies and Procedures

Payment of Fees: Tuition must be paid by automatic credit card payment. Tuition will be charged to your credit card on file on the 1st day of each month.

Schedule: All lessons and classes are continuous, and students may retain their spot as long as they like.

Withdrawals: To stop lessons or classes, just give us a call here at the school any time before the next monthly billing cycle. No refunds will be given for unused lessons.

Instructional Time: The last 5 minutes of each lesson are not instructional time; this time is reserved for packing up, finishing homework notes, touching base with a parent or guardian, and teacher preparation for starting the next lesson on time.

Extreme Weather: If the school must close and cancel classes due to extreme weather or events beyond our control, such as power outages, you will receive a make-up lesson credit. A make-up lesson credit will be given that can be used to self-book a lesson at a different time.

Student Missed Private Music Lessons and Make-up Lessons: If you are missing a private lesson, please message your teacher to let them know you will not be coming. You will be eligible to attend a group make-up class. To schedule a group make-up class, click the Schedule Make-up button in your account. Classes must be self-scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

Teacher Missed Private Music Lesson: If a teacher misses a private music lesson and a substitute teacher cannot be arranged, you will be given a private lesson make-up lesson credit. To schedule a private make-up music lesson, you must click the "Schedule Make-up" button in your account a minimum of 24 hours in advance. A make-up lesson credit will be given that can be used to self-book a lesson at a different time.

Substitute Teachers: In order to maintain student progress, the school schedules substitute teachers when a regularly scheduled teacher is ill or otherwise unable to teach. No refunds or make-up lessons will be given if the student does not attend a lesson with a substitute. If no substitute is available, the student will be offered a make-up lesson at a later date.

Injuries and Treatment: The school will provide any medical assistance they deem appropriate for minors enrolled in our programs, and all expenses incurred are the responsibility of the parents or guardians of that child. Adult students and the parents or legal guardians of minors waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on school property resulting from activities conducted by the students before, during, or after lessons and classes.

Consent for Digital Communication and Media Release: The school is given consent to send notices and information regarding lessons, events, and future registrations to student families by email, text, and other digital methods. Student information will not be shared with any outside companies or parties. The school reserves the right to take photographs and videos of students to use in educational and promotional materials.

Covid-19 Addendum: By entering school facilities, students fully accept the potential risk of exposure to illnesses such as Covid-19. Current safety protocols are available by request from our front desk. Lessons and classes may be moved online at any time due to health department requirements.
